The San Diego Boat Show has a history of being the best boat show in the area. The Southern California Marine Association (SCMA) presents the San Diego International Boat Show. The show is fashioned by an organization of marine industry members with over 55 years of knowledge and commitment. Those attending are guaranteed the highest quality along with a very diverse assortment of boats, yachts and marine products offered by the boating industry.

If your schedules permits, take advantage of the free daily seminars that are scheduled about various topics ranging from cruising and navigation to powerboats sailboats, engine repairs, maintenance and seminars on the best financing options.

Try It Cove – There’s more than one way to catch a wave!
Catch some rays…get some exercise… and have fun on the water. Padddlesports are among the world's fastest growing water sports—and you can find out why for yourself at this year's show.
Head to Try it Cove to sample a variety of activities—from stand-up paddle boarding to kayaking, canoeing and more! Be sure to bring your suit and a towel; we'll provide the equipment and changing room.

Tastes & Sounds of Summer
When you are ready for a break from shopping the boat show or looking for a perfect place to catch the sunset, visit the Fiddler's Green Tiki Bar on the docks.
Grab a bite to eat at the BBQ hosted by the Rotary Club La Mesa, enjoy a glass of craft beer at Anchors & Ales Beer Garden or a snack at one of the gourmet Food Trucks. Relax & listen to live entertainment island/boat music performed by a steel drum band.

FREE Sailing Lesson—Sailing Simulator
Experience how a boat reacts to wind and waves and learn how to use the tiller with the help of an ASA-certified instructor. Designed and built by a nuclear physicist, the sailing simulator recreates the actual movement of a boat under sail so you can get a feel for the water, without getting wet. It’s a unique training platform for sailors of all abilities—whether you’re just learning how to sail and or an experienced sailor who wants to practice under different sailing conditions.

Kids' Zone—Fun Nautical Activities
Little skippers will love the Kids’ Zone where they can draw a nautical picture to take home as a souvenir, enjoy activities at Try It Cove and playing bag “bait” toss at the Progressive® Insurance booth for prizes.
